My husband and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary at Riley’s Fish & Steak, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic! Every dish was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. To make our night even more special, the staff surprised us with a sweet "Happy Anniversary" message on our dessert, along with lovely compliments throughout the evening. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly celebrated. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to mark this special occasion. Highly recommend Riley’s for a delicious meal and top-tier service!
Our first time here and we ate so much. Our server Dustin was awesome. Gave us all the info about the menu and drinks. To put the cherry on top, Chef John came to see us as well. Super nice guy and happy guy. If you are visiting Vancouver downtown then you must come here and enjoy dinner. Their happy hour prices are really good.
Went here for my birthday we were very well treated by the server Evan. The food was exemplary and put us all into a giant food Coma, couldn’t decide what my favourite was perhaps the rigatoni which is absolutely killer and very rich, but I will also say that the brioche was very good. The brussels sprouts were very good the fish and chips and the calamari especially was very tender. Hopefully we’ll be coming back here again soon being a big party also thank God the restaurant is not kid friendly and adults only here.
Had a fantastic group brunch here, everyone enjoyed their dishes and they were beautifully presented. Loved the extra touch of an amuse bouche, and our server was so kind to give us a second round (it was a joke that I’m so happy he took seriously!). My crab omelette was generously portioned and really tasty. Great place to celebrate special occasions, and right by the water for an after meal stroll. Would definitely come back for lunch and dinner.
From the moment we arrived (with a reservation), everything was smooth. Our server Majid was excellent — very attentive, personable, and made sure the night felt special. Towards the end of dinner, he surprised my girl with a birthday dessert, brought it out with a candle, and even sang to her. Small gestures like that leave a lasting impression. The food was excellent, service was on point, and you can really feel the pride they take in what they do here. Definitely a 5-star experience — we’ll be back.
Celebrated my BFF's birthday at Riley's and we're so glad we did! The service was attentive and prompt and the food was so delicious!! We took advantage of their buyout meal, a set menu for 2 offering an array of dishes. It was perfect and sooo good! We will definitely be back!!
This was our second time at Riley’s. The first was for happy hour and the food, service and ambiance brought us back. IMO the best happy hour in downtown Vancouver. This time, we came for Sunday brunch and it was exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we could hear the live performer who set the perfect ambiance. Our server Kim was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their brunch. Highly recommend the crab omelette! Will be back soon for dinner!
Rio was our server and he was great! We went there for Buy Up and celebrated my husband’s birthday. It was my third time there. The Buy Up deal was great the food was great, except the mushrooms were a bit too salty but we were too full anyway so we packed to go and made burgers with them. The seafood platter was fresh, steak was well executed and the dessert was yum! (Not too sweet). Would go back again
